Hi all, I’m back again with photographs that correspond to the video I released today on my YouTube, where I’m talking about the Canon Rebel 2000: my first SLR. Here’s a link to last week’s video. . . . .
The Rebel 2000 is very dear to my heart, even though I haven’t used it for years and years. You can find out why in the video – see what I did there? But I wanted to share the photographs here so y’all can take a better look at them than the YouTube video allows.
I used Ilford Delta 400 and developed it according to Ilford’s standard instructions for film exposed at ISO 400. I use D76 1:1.
Some of these photos required a bit of bringing up in post, thanks to the unique situation of shade and light at the Round Rock Express stadium and me opting to test out the camera on auto / program mode. Also some of them are a little wonky because I decided to take the hip-shot approach. But in general I’m happy with the results and am looking forward to using the camera again. Autofocus is really nice sometimes!!
Enjoy! And please don’t forget to hit the subscribe button; more videos are in the works!
