Frugal Film Project, April | Waco!

For April’s frugal film roll, I went to Waco! My friend Jen Brimmage met me there for a photo day and we were delighted to find a food truck festival happening that day. There were street photography opportunities galore!

Downtown Waco in general is a very photogenic place. Granted, I am biased since it’s my hometown, but it’s dearer to me now than when I was younger.

We were blessed with excellent light that day, so my Holga Holga combo performed better than it has in previous months. . . . but then again Holga is an unpredictable beast so I guess you never really know.

Once again, I made use of double-exposures. Good light or not, it’s still fun to play.

Next month’s roll is so far unplanned in terms of where I will work. . . . maybe Austin, maybe Georgetown, maybe even Waco again. Stay tuned and thanks for looking!
