Project Fundraiser Print Sale

Friends, I have a new project that I am SUPER excited about! I don’t want to spill all the beans this far in advance, because it won’t reach fruition until next spring, but it involves me making a whole series of new work, darkroom printing, and framing. This is the tool, and the fuel:

It’s been years since I used much Ilford film, and I am really liking the results so far. I feel like it’s also been years since I confined myself to using my Hasselblad, and this feels like coming home from a long crazy trip. I’m really enjoying having a project to focus on and getting back to my roots.

That being said, everything costs money. The film is one thing, but the paper and framing costs are another, especially since I will be printing and framing larger than I normally do; it’s not significantly larger, but enough so I will have to buy both paper and frames. I have a hoard of 11×14 paper from when my hometown camera store closed years ago, but it’s all RC, and considering how much this project means to me I would much rather print on fiber based paper. (You might hear me cursing that choice when I’m trying to flatten the prints, but it will be worth it.)

To that end, I’ve decided to try to sell some of the ridiculous amount of photographic prints I have, mostly leftover from previous years when I had solo shows and a radical amount of hope that viewers would flip out over what they saw and snap up all the images. We all do that at least once, right?? Below I present to you rather shoddy cell phone photos of the prints I am offering up – all made in my darkroom except where indicated. Some of them need to be trimmed, which I will do should the time come that they go to a new home. Some of these I have multiple copies of, but for the most part they are one-offs.

If anything catches your eye, please send me a message! All prices include shipping (in the US; outside the US please add $5). Prints only, not mounted or framed: 8×10 photographs are $45; 11×11 photographs are $60. The last two images were printed by WHCC and are on their fine art paper; they are less because I didn’t print them myself.

Thanks for your time, and thanks for looking!
